Help me get to No.1 best selling erotic short story in the UK?

My Darcy Pulsates...has been sitting at No. 6 and 7 of the UK best selling erotic short stories in the past days. I'm dreaming of getting to No.1.

Haha, any readers out there in the UK? Hello, Doctor Who, can you help?

Best Selling Short Stories

My Darcy Pulsates...Kindle version came out slightly earlier than I thought and it has just reached No.75 best selling single author best seller list. It seems quite a strange category.

Thank you, dear readers! Book purchase link is here.

Thank you Canada

I've thanked my American, French, British and German readers before. Today it's time to thank my Canadian readers. Over at Smashwords, who sell my books to Sony, Kobo etc, they have improved their reporting and I can now see who bought my books in Canada.

Recently there were readers from ON, AB, QC, MB, NS buying my books. I've only been to Toronto some 15 years ago, in the deep of winter. Perhaps it's time to see more of Canada. I hope in summer this time.

Merci, again!

On January 22, The Spinster's Vow reached No.33 best selling historical romance in Amazon France. Today, it reaches No. 8!

Woo hoo! Merci, merci. It's among books published by Avon and Penguin. I'm honoured.

Merci!

Thank you French readers. The Spinster's Vow has reached No.33 in best selling historical romance:

Thank you, Kindle readers

Dear lovely readers, thanks for buying my books.

I now have 8 books for sales in various channels and this month so far, I've sold over 300 of them.

90% of the sales is from Kindle, followed by Smashwords, Lightning source and Lulu. The best selling book is still Bargain with the Devil. I think most of you love a bad boy hero.

Perhaps I can crack the 1,000 mark soon...

Big hugs to all of you.

Enid's Media Kit

Thanks to the tips from Elizabeth Craig, the fabulous cozy mystery author at Mystery Writing is Murder, I've compiled a marketing flyer (not sure if I can call it media kit though. It sounds grand for me to have a media kit, LOL)

Here is the first page. I'm going to send it out to libraries in Australia to see if they will buy and order my books. I'm not sure if I should approach US libraries too. What do you think?

Amazon Kindle sales

I'm really excited today. The sales of Fire and Cross at Kindle store is going strong. It's now on No. 39 best-selling British detectives mysery list. Thank you Kindle readers!

I wonder if it will go up to top 10 one day. Want to help me do that? Just spread the words about Fire and Cross to your friends and families. Ok, now back to writing Savage.

Best-selling Regency romance

Another great news to share! After achieving a wonderful sales ranking in the British detectives mystery list, Fire and Cross reached No. 59 best-selling Regency romance early.

When I was writing the story, I was worried that the mystery would took over the romance. Luckily, romance readers still love it. Many thanks!

Amazon Author Central

I've registered with Amazon Author Central but seldom look at it closely. Lately they have introduced many new features and I love this one that shows where my books are sold in USA.

Thank you Los Angeles and Salt Lake City (for the time being, hehe). I've hidden the total sales figure. This doesn't include Kindle sales which are more than my paperback sales.

Mr. Darcy vs. Hercule Poirot

Happy dancing again! Fire and Cross just reached No.68 best-selling British detectives mystery on Amazon USA. More to my delight was that it sits right after one of Hercule Poirot's cases. What an honour! (But don't get too excited, the novel isn't a detective story, it's more a mystery.)

Translation of steamy Pride and Prejudice

A while ago, a Spanish publisher contacted me via a New York scouting agent. They were interested to translate my books and enquired about the translation rights.

The deal didn't realise but I'd be happy to see my steamy Pride and Prejudice novels translated into Spanish, French, German, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Slovene, Dutch, and other languages.

Why these languages? Because I know from my website statistics that some of my readers are from these countries. Perhaps they would like to read sexy Mr. Darcy in their own languages.

Translators and foreign language publishers, are you up for the challenge?

Amazon sales ranking

Yay, My Darcy Mutates...reached No.35 best selling Regency romance on Amazon USA last week. Happy dancing! It's been on the best selling Anthology for a few times already. Anthology = erotic short stories?

Historical fantasy

Last week, I was surprised to find out that My Darcy Mutates...reaches No.95 best selling historical fantasy at Amazon UK, in the company of Jules Verne Collection, Merlin etc.

I wonder why it's classified under historical fantasy. Out of the 14 short stories in the collection, only three of them are fantasy stories. But I guess the name My Darcy Mutates did it.

Best selling Regency romance

Yay! Happy dancing!

Really Angelic has reached No. 28 best-selling Regency romance in Amazon Canada yesterday!

Thank you Canada!

France loves Jane Austen too!

Bargain with the Devil was listed No. 88 best selling historical romance among the English books in Amazon France on 30 Oct.

I checked out other best selling books on that list and was happy to find other Jane Austen's inspired books there.

No.1 - Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
No.4 - Mr. Darcy's Diary by Amanda Grange
No.88 - my own Bargain with the Devil
No.95 - Mr. Darcy's Decision by Juliette Shapiro

It seems JA is well loved by French readers too.

Devil Breaks Through Top 50 Best Sellers!

Just want to brag a bit. Last night Bargain with the Devil reached top 50 best selling historical romance in Amazon USA (It's 44).

Maybe I should start checking the beaches you recommended. My BF and I may come to USA to celebrate!

Most beautiful beach in USA?

My BF is a beach junkie.

When Bargain with the Devil sales ranking reached No.10 in Regency romance in Canada, I joked with him that if it reached No.1 in Regency romance in USA, I would take him to the most beautiful beach in USA for a holiday, as a way to thank the USA readers, by spending some money there.

Although it's unlikely that it will reach No.1 in Regency romance in the states, I am curious to know which beach do you think is the most beautiful in USA?

Our expectation will be: clean sandy beach, NOT too many tourists (not too few either), available of good food (that's for me, hehe), good waves, spectacular landscape around and hot water temperature.

Any recommendations?

Devil Ranks No.10 in Regency Romance!

I'm happy to report that Bargain with the Devil's Amazon USA ranking has gone up to 8,000 at the end of last month. I forgot to check how it ranked in its own category though.

Since then I have been tracking its sales ranking at various amazons. Here are the results:

Amazon UK - 49,661 (18 Sept)
Amazon Germany - 6,853 in English books (17 Sept)

The happiest news is that at Amazon Canada, Devil's ranking has gone to 9,177 today and the book is No.10 best seller in Regency romance!

Thank you USA, Canada, Germany and UK!

Now readers in France and Japan, let see what you can do.

If you like my book, especially for non-English readers, you can help other readers find it by

1. Putting a tag in your relevant Amazon (under product detail)
2. Putting a short review there
3. Telling your local bookshops to stock it.

Am I one hell of a bossy lady?
