I love tennis and yesterday I was ecstatic to watch Sam Stosur win over Serena at the US Open. Congratulations, Sam! You deserve it. I hope you will get to No.1.

Crack under pressure

If you have followed this blog, you'll know that I love tennis. I play the sport every Friday and it's one of the best ways for me to relax from a hard day of work.

It's tennis season in Australia and I was watching Kim Clijsters crashing out of Australian Open earlier.

It's a pity when people were so hyped up about her comeback and she produced such a disastrous defeat.

Are we too harsh on our idols? Do we put too much expectation on them as we do to ourselves? Have you cracked under high expectation before?

More skin than skill?

Tennis is another love of my life. I started the sport when I was around 12 and for the past 10 years, I have been playing nearly every week. In the tennis centre where I play, we don't dress up. But tennis fashion is fascinating.

Here is an article where Margaret Court said tennis women now show more skin than skill. Do you think people now treat the sport too much like a show?
