I LOVE this story, and am so glad you have started it up again! Thanks, Enid!
ReplyDeleteI am so happy that you are continuing finding and fighting. I am enjoying it, but why make wickham good?
ReplyDeleteThanks Michelle and anonymous reader. F&F is another mystery and I'm trying hard to make it work from Lizzy's first person narrative. I've it planned for about 15 chapters so it will take a bit of time.Michelle, you didn't like a good Wickham? I actually haven't decided about him yet. I've only decided who the villain is in the story. Oops, I'm giving out secret already. And I hope you didn't mind my tease, about your whips. I'm determined not to be distracted and finished Every Savage Can Reproduce and Finding and Fighting next.
ReplyDeleteOh Enid am to happy reading your brilliant writings to mind the tease about the whips. A good wickham is not a bad idea but it will be had to keep an open mind about him because whenever i come across his name the first thing that comes to mind is what is that scoundrel up to now.
ReplyDeleteI love both stories haven't commented on Every Savage Can Reproduce as yet because i am still rereading it.
Big hugs Michelle. I've dedicated F&C published version to a few of you, regular commenters who often urge me on.
ReplyDeleteSo good Wickham may not be as good as we assumed at first blush? All seems right with the world again! Yay, Enid!
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure yet, still thinking about Wickham's fate.
ReplyDeleteI can handle a Wickham that is not evil, but I don't know how I feel about one who is a good guy. I like a little bad boy in my Wickham. But then I tend to like a little streak of the bad boy in general.
ReplyDeleteHas that been done? A good Wickham? I remember Somebody's Natural Daughter. He's sort of good. I've written more about Darcy's visit but he's torn about how to deal with Lizzy, hmm...
ReplyDeleteEnid, thanks for the dedication.
ReplyDeleteI have never come across a truly reform wickham, a bit less devious maybe but always the wickham we love to hate. Wickham being total good will lose his irresistible charm.
Maybe Darcy should kidnapp Lizzy!
I've to thank you instead, Michelle, for your regular comments. I feed on them! As for Mr. Darcy, he is very arrogant and wants to send Lizzy away. I don't think he wants to kidnap her at all. But I don't understand why he kissed her hand though, in front of her uncle. He's behaving strangely. Our dear Cousin Wickham, let see what secret he has.
ReplyDeleteLoving the direction this story is taking. I do believe that Darcy is already in love with Elizabeth and getting her to the castle was more his idea than lord Norland.
ReplyDeleteAlthough i like Mrs Bennet and i know she loves her girls, i do hate the way she belittles Lizzy, there is hardly a moment when she is truly proud of Lizzy without finding fault with her at the same time.
All the best for the new year!
Oh, my, I got a mention! ;)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Enid, for not quitting this story, I was really glad to see the next chapter was up, eagerly read it and loved it! Hope you continue!
Thanks for poking Vesna. I've written two more chapters, but gave away the baddies too early. Will need to edit them before posting. Stay tune and big hugs from cold Sydney.
ReplyDeleteStaying tuned for the next update! =D
ReplyDelete--N
Thanks N, the next chapter is with beta. Hope you like it when I post it up. Big hugs
ReplyDeleteHi! I did enjoy the "garden argument and make up" chapter. (^^,) I'm glad Mrs. Bennet didn't make a spectacle of herself at the dinner. I think she was pretty tolerable and easier to sympathize with knowing that the things she did were because of worry and heartbreak... so good job!
ReplyDeleteI don't have an account on here but I bookmarked the page so I could keep checking back for new chapters. Do you have a set update day? I want to read as soon as you add the new chapter. (^^,)
All the best,
--ian (aka N)
Hi ian (aka N), thanks for reading and commenting. I think Miss Bingley is more annoying than Mrs. B in the story. I've written up to Chapter 18, but some of them are with beta. So I can't schedule the posting date as I'm not sure when the beta will be completed. You can befriend me on facebook, because I usually announce it there when I post an update. Big hugs from dark Sydney.
ReplyDeleteYey! New chapter! I hope Darcy deciphers the real reason behind Elizabeth's sudden coldness at the end of the chapter so it doesn't come between them later on. I'm excited to see where this story leads!
ReplyDeleteCheers,
N
Thanks N, Darcy is a bit more forward in this story. He can't seem to grovel enough before Lizzy. I've just posted another chapter. Happy reading!
ReplyDelete*sigh* I wish Mr. Bennet's found soon or at the least, a conclusive explanation for his disappearance be given so Elizabeth can move on and allow herself to fall in love with Darcy! Her stubborness could be irritating at times.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the new chapter!
--N
LoL, hmmm.... She hasn't entirely redeemed herself... but if she is warming up to Darcy (again?) then I daresay she is on the way to doing just that. haha
ReplyDelete--N
I know, Lizzy is in a tight spot. Keep reading, N.
ReplyDeleteEnid I am loving this story and am so anxious to read more!!!! I agree with some of the others, this Elizabeth can be a bit irritating in her rationale. I just can't wait to see how everything plays out. I do love His Grace, he is such a help for Lizzy and Darcy.
ReplyDeleteKeep up the great job Enid. You always have something entertaining written.
Thanks Erika. It's good to know you're having fun with the story. I'm trying to post every Friday now. Hope I can keep up, as Lizzy is changing her mind all the time!
ReplyDeleteI haven't commented in a while, but i love this story even though Lizzy is irritating me to the point that i wish to have her suffer a bit.
ReplyDeleteSince she can't make up her mind as to her true feelings for Darcy, i think you should give her a push, by having the person to direct them in france be a beautiful and alluring french courtesan by the name of Amelie Dupree. Who is bold and suggestive in showing her appreciation for Darcy's fine form as a man. This ought to snapp Lizzy out off whatever daze she is in.
Excellent suggestion, Michelle! Poor Darcy, tormented not only by Lizzy but also by a beautiful and alluring courtesan. I hope he gets his relief soon!
ReplyDeleteAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! This is a rollercoaster!!!!! A delisciously sexy rollercoaster. I was just about panting myself when William kissed Lizzy on the round bed in the cabin. Every week I think they will finally unleash their passion and discover the joys of the physical side of marriage, but then I get sucked in and left tense and wanting. I love it and hate it . . . excellent tension, it keeps me back for more. I only hope when they do come together it is a spectactular scene. I do so hope William has actually been awake when Lizzy has been "secretly" exploring his body when she thinks he is sleeping.
ReplyDeleteThanks A. I'm sure Mr. Darcy is quite awake and I hope their real wedding night will not disappoint you. I plan to have a whole chapter of it. Hehe.
ReplyDeleteOH how i was rooting for Darcy to finally get some release, but once again Miss lizzy had to have her own way. She is just a little to stubborn for my poor nerves. She should let the wanton in her take control, it will do her some good because she really do need that first release.
ReplyDeleteThanks Michelle for commenting. Miss Lizzy will get around soon. Or else Mr. Darcy will get sick.
ReplyDeleteHOO..HOO..RAY for Darcy he neeeded that and so did miss Lizzy, now that her passion is inflamed i trust that Darcy will not be getting much rest in the boudior. But it's all good! I hope they can stay out of the boudior long enough and save some of that bedroom energy to focus on finding out what happen to Mr Bennet.
ReplyDeleteOh so HOT! Finally, they are truly man & wife:)
ReplyDeleteHot dang! Now let's go find her daddy.....
Great writing as always.
LOL, thanks Michelle and Mommakittie. Darcy and Lizzy will be quite busy, in the next few chapters, with themselves, *wink*. But to find her daddy, they may have to cool off a bit...
ReplyDeleteOMG!!!!!!! I was out of town and couldn't check your site until today. I'm so in love (or is it luct) with your Mr. Darcy. What a wonderfyl scene in the cabin. I feel like I need a cold shower now (or a real live Mr. Darcy). Woot! Woot! I look forward to further exploration :0)
ReplyDeleteOk, I was a little too excited to be typing that last message, sorry about all the spelling issues, but I think you can get the idea . . . I'm going back to read the last chapter again.
ReplyDeleteA, good that you liked the chapter! There will be a little bit more of D&E before we go back to baddies hunting. Hugs and thanks for commenting.
ReplyDeleteLove all of you stories, but just wanted to give you a heads up that the PDF creator function on part 1 doesn't work right. I save the PDF's so I can take your stories anywhere on my e-reader if you don't have a book version out.
ReplyDeleteI just discovered this site and must admit I am now a huge fan. I loved this story so much I couldn't sleep till I reached the end. I'm soooo looking forward to more.
ReplyDeleteThanks Nicki and San. It's good that you like the story. It has another 2 chapters and a epilogue to go. I hope I've managed to keep your interest till then. Nicki, I'm not that good with joomla. I'll need some geek to help me with it. In the meantime, you can copy and paste special (unformatted text) into a Word document to read it. Hugs from rainy Sydney
ReplyDeleteHaven't been able to read Finding and Fighting in a long while and am glad I was able to read several chapters at once when I got back!
ReplyDeleteYey! Lizzy and Darcy are finally together in every sense.
I wonder what Darcy will find out about this shameless courtesan? It was really funny when Elizabeth was imitating her as she "seduced" her very willing husband. Cute (^^,)
-N
N, thanks for commenting. The story is completed. I hope you find the ending of the story on the right page. Oh yes, Lizzy is a quite learner.
