My sister loves to watch crime stories on tv. CSI, Bones, Criminal Minds, Law and Order, Miss Marple, Midsummer Murder, the Bills, you name it, she watches it.
But I hate to see blood, skeletons, dismembered corpses. Why are horrible crime scenes needed? Can a good crime story go without the crime scene?
Human nature, sadly - people just LOVE all the blood, gore and scare me witless stuff. As if there isn't enough of that in the REAL world, eh?

Agreed, Marvin!
ReplyDeleteI can live without the blood and gore quite easily. I think that's why I liked the TV show Monk so much. They manage to base a story around a murder each week without the gore. Too bad this was the last season for it.
ReplyDeleteI thought Monk was comedy. Didn't know it's a crime story too. Thanks for the heads up, Jane. Will watch out for it next time.
