Recycled banana

Here is an old flash fiction of mine. Keyword: Banana.

“Elizabeth, my dear, where are you?”

Elizabeth quickly gobbled up the remaining banana and swiftly hid the skin inside her sewing basket.

When Mr. Darcy reached the secluded garden bench, he lowered his head and nipped her lips. “My love, you had some tiny bit of banana on the corner of your mouth. You raided them in my orchard again!”

She tried to jump away but he anticipated her move and wrapped his arms around her waist tightly.

"Let me go!”

“What did I say if you attack my bananas again?”

“But this new variety of yellow banana* is so sweet and refreshing. I could not help myself.”

“This is a highly priced import from the tropic. I could only grow them inside the hot house. You have to repay me dearly for it.”

“I have plenty of pin money.”

Darcy whispered to her ear, “I don’t want your pin money. I have another variety for you to taste” Then he pulled her over him and challenged his wife of 25 years to the task. The banana tasting session lasted for hours to both their immense satisfaction.
