I feel so blessed we don't have to dress like this any more. Are tight dresses and trousers your things?

I'm so grateful to live now--although I LOVE how some of the old clothes look--then I remember the hems were covered in horse...leavings.

ReplyDeleteComfort is my thing now. When I was growing up, young girls wore girdles. Nothing was supposed to move. Thank goddess times have changed.
ReplyDeleteWould not want to have to wear those dresses, but they are wonderful to look at. I sometimes watch From Larkrise to Candleford (I think that's how it's spelled) and like seeing the clothes they wear, both the ones who have money and the characters who don't.
