  1. Since I'm too lazy to study, I might as well post some comments around your site, you are one of my favourite author after all.

Retsnip - I thought that was bit too short and unsteamy for your style, but mayhap that is an non MA rated, still it brings a smile a to my face.

A Feast - hopefully you could extend on this, after you completed Really Angelic off course.

A Billionaire Convicted - hillerous, I love the sweet NB.

  2. Haha Merry Xmas, Hana!

I actually thought about extending Retsnip, rather than A Feast! To give myself some challenges in the new year, to write PG rated story, instead of steamy ones. But I guess most readers want sexy stories instead.

  3. Merry B'late Christmas to you too.

I believed that I read from somewhere in your board that you are thinking of combining Sketching His Character & Bargain with the Devil, I hope not!
I just read both of them again last night and I really enjoyed them being to seperate stories.

Is this for publishing purpose and that why they are not hosted at steamydarcy?
Anyway, I know you still got Reproduce & Chemical Reaction to write, but I hope your muse are higher for Really Angelic :P

  4. Hi Hana

I have finished combining Sketch and Devil but I was not very happy with the final.

I will put it aside for a while and see how I feel about it. Yes, I didn't host them here because I was hoping to publish them.

CR6 is done. It's with the beta. Need to work on Savage now. Another week of holiday, hope I can crack a few pages. But Angel will be updated whenever I have some nightly inspiration. Thanks for cracking the whip! *wink*

  5. Hey enid!
Great site. I'll explore more later, just wanted to leave you word that I liked it. Good luck!

  6. Thanks Cristal, just the red a bit too red and words a bit too small. Hope I can figure out how to change them...

    Big hug!

  7. Hi Enid,
just finished reading Theta Magic. Nice work, though not my favorite Enid's story thus far.I found Really Angelic, If Someone Discovers Us and Savage much more refreshing. Hope you'll update them soon. I'm always looking forward to read your new piece :)

    ReplyDelete
  8. Thanks Miaka for the comment. That means you like Regency stories better?

I just updated Really Angelic this afternoon. Hope you like the pretty mad Lizzy.

Savage was on my writing list today but I was mourning the loss of Safin in the Hopman Cup tennis.

Tomorrow, no more delay. But "If someone discover us" is just a NB. I won't update it.

I do have a Regency mystery planned, after I finish Angel, another 10 weeks to go...

    ReplyDelete
  9. yea i think there's something about breaching propriety in that period that's appealing to me hahaha.
aww u r not going to update "if someone discovers us?" that's too bad. that story was interesting. i was imagining how darcy and elizabeth would react as criminal suspects.
i'll be waiting for your new crime stories then hahah

  10. Enid-Happy Valentine's Day!
What a lovely surprise to see your new NB posted! I loved it! So fun and so very naughty....you are the Master!!

    ReplyDelete
  11. Oh btw for your new series, I really would like to read a continuation of "If someone discovers us" or something along that line. It can be a sexy mystery story. What do you think? Something different and edgy with HMS between the thrills :P

    ReplyDelete
  12. Thanks Frances, forgot to reply to your comment for so long.

Oh yes Miaka, you mentioned about that before, continuing If Someone Discover Us.

Bummer I forgot it when I put put the choices for selection. Well have to wait for next round then. LOL. Maybe after I finish Savage, I can do 2 stories at the same time, who knows. Thanks for the comment and continue support

  13. just read your sex toy queen NB...and wow thats different...an underage Darcy & a young teacher...my my..and now a baby? ooh dear..did Lady Catherine took the baby and raise it as her own?all this time Darcy got a kid? you really should post this in AHA, the crowd gonna go wild over this

    ReplyDelete
  14. Yay!!!! Another Enid regency!!

Just read "Finding and Fighting". Definitely Too short! I Want More!!!

So, Mr. Bennet is dead and they have had to move away from Longbourn. Now, they are preparing for a masked ball even though aunt Phillips didn't say whether or not it was one. And Mrs. B is hoping they will all marry tonight!? They must still be near Meryton but how can they afford it? Do they still have a carriage? It sounds like this is after Collins married someone else (Charlotte?) and Bingley and Darcy didn't come back.

This story has many questions and holds the promise of much entertainment. I can't wait for more as I see it is from Lizzy's POV.

Hope to see more soon! I'm hooked already Enid!

    ReplyDelete
  15. Thanks Sandy for coming back!I thought I would have lost you, by only starting to write the story so late. Well, on your speculations, you got nearly all of them wrong, hmmm, you have to wait, probably till Friday or weekend because I've a huge report to write today. If you keep asking me questions, I think I will start writing more often and will sadly neglect Savage once again...

And writing in Lizzy's point of view, my major concern is about the clues to be just known to Darcy and Bingley and then when they go away, how can Lizzy gives the readers such clues...Well this is all new to me, I will figure out once I'm up to that plot.

At the moment, the story will be around 20 chapters. Hang in there! Big hug!

    ReplyDelete
  16. OK Enid....you'll never be rid of me!!! *lol*

    Nearly all speculation wrong......OhhhhNooooo!

OK...you have to write more...I think I'm already hooked!

Love this beginning Enid and can't wait to read more!!! I'm continuing to hang but I hate to ruin a perfectly good manicure!!!*LOL* Hugs back at ya!

    ReplyDelete
  17. Wow Enid, so much changes around here, all the better, not that there was anything wrong with the previous design. I'm gonna read finding & fighting now, but will come back and comment next week. I'm sure it good, after all, I waited this long.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Thanks Sandy and hangnhu, yes, it's been very long in waiting and it will be a long wip too, as I absolutely have no idea on how to write mystery.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Enid!! Now I have this picture in my mind of Darcy in a kilt! And nothing else! **melts on the floor** Thanks for the image!

Loved that Bingley is Georgiana's pet kangaroo! Of course, now I am imagining Caroline as a Duck Billed Platypus! LOL!
    Great Story. Thanks Enid.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Caroline as Platypus? What an imagine!

    ReplyDelete
  21. A bathing machine? landlady? what have you up your sleeve, dare I say Darcy to be one of the two men Lydia and Kitty spies? Where is Mr Bennet I wonder. you must update soon
I hope this isn't a PG story is it?

    ReplyDelete
  22. ps: the playground fairytale is a topper, I love Mulan and Darcy as General Shang
naughty Lizzy and her fondling, she was drunk right?

    ReplyDelete
  23. Hi Hangnhu, of course not PG, but delay HMS to suit the theme of Spinster. Hope you can hold out. Mulan Lizzy probably has a huge hangover every morning and nurses her headache by enjoying the sleeping beau.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Wow! A few questions answered and more to be asked. We know now that Mr. Bennet didn't die...that we know of...but, what happened to him? He obviously didn't have to chase after Wickham and Lydia....Hmmmmm? And, just what is Lizzy up to?

Jane is now the age Darcy was in the original. Have they never met Darcy and/or Bingley before? Will they meet them tonight?

Looking forward to more! This is such a mystery! And I love your kind of mysteries!!

    Impatiently waiting for more!
    Hugs! Sandy

  26. Cool, I bet Mr Bennet is simply fed up with the house full of females and gave up and left. And Either Bingley or Darcy could be the rich gent that has something to do with Mr B disappearance.

Can Elizabeth not see that Darcy was lying to himself, she did heard him say ‘sultry’ lips, perhaps she could get back at him by making him kiss those sultry lips before the mask unveil. Also, I wonder who would Elizabeth and Darcy escape marriage that night, with every doors locked. Would they break the garden French doors? Would they climb down the ancient vine beside the balcony located on the first floor adjacent to the ballroom?

I’m sure Bingley and Jane cared not a jot if they were married before novel times. Will we see Darcy bathing in Elizabeth’s machine? Will Wickham appear here too? Where is Mr Colin now? Who is master of Longbourn currently? Unless I missed it out. Hm… I will think more of Mr Bennet disappearance, which apparently the mystery of this tale, but meanwhile, do update soon Enid :D

    ReplyDelete
  27. Hangnhu, you have a lot of great idea. Collin is renting Longbourn, Wickham will appear and men didn't need to use bathing machines, just women did. More questions?

    ReplyDelete
  28. Whew! It's a hot time at the old dance tonight! LOL!

I'm hoping Wickham make some comment about Pemberley and Caroline thinks he is Darcy and they end up trying to create a little Orange haired Wickham! What a hoot that would be!!

Maybe Lizzy and Darcy can do their own bathing, together! WooHoo!

    More Enid and soon please!

    ReplyDelete
  29. I see Darcy has plan for Elizabeth, not the other way round, but no worries, you can punish Darcy by revealing Lizzy to be not so ancient. She 26/27 right? I'm sure women don't look that ancient yet. As for myself, I could pass as a 16 years old, no problem. I needed IDs for every where I go.

The Bennets must be very infamous at Meryton for Bingley to know of their departure, wonder if the gossips are complementary.

Men don't need bathing machine? then what is Elizabeth planning on managing? Will she be near the water at least, I want her spying on that Adonis masculine perfect form :D

Who was the couple kissing? You must have Elizabeth & Darcy run away from the alter, it is conveniently there already. I'm quiet keen on the climb down the vine to escape the function & marriage, by the way. possibly for a stroll in the moonlight, but that wouldn't happen. unless, Darcy ask Elizabeth as some form of forfeits.

I could imagine Darcy exacting revenge just as well as Elizabeth.
    anyway, more please!

    ReplyDelete
  30. So many good suggestions, Sandy and Hangnhu. Wickham will get someone, so can't pair him with Caroline. But I do plan on a bathing machine encounter later on. Yes, Lizzy is two years younger than Jane, so 26 years old in this story. There were plenty of fashionable women who liked to use the machine, paid by their husbands or relatives or friends. You look very young, hangnhu, I think I saw one of your photo from profile. So you are around 26 too?

    ReplyDelete
  31. WooHoo! And things just keep heating up more and more. Darcy talks as if he isn't affected but guess again!

And what does he mean if she hadn't known his name he would have relieved her suffering. Yes, I have to agree! What a "rake". Wake up Lizzy, you're about to be taken advantage of!

Oh Enid! Can't we just let them get together and get relieve "both" their suffering?! *grin*

    ReplyDelete
  32. Sandy, you're so right. One moment I was writing Darcy saying he's not affected and the next minute, he is being so rakish. He doesn't seem to care Lizzy know who he is. The wine may have more an effect on him. Have to hold him back when I next sit in front of the computer!

    ReplyDelete
  33. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  34. very sensuous description, I'm all anticipation, though the update was too short and I wish Darcy would just disregards her knowing his name or you didn't let Elizabeth eavesdrop from the beginning
    what will happen next?

So you got one of them drunk, will Elizabeth takes advantages of Darcy and visa versa?
It his duty of a gentleman to relieve her, after all.
Yes, I'm 26, and I'm desperate for a ball hopefully to meet a Darcy of my own.
Alas, rich haughty jerk that are willing to reform or jump in the lake are sourly lacking around here in England, isn't that just stocking?
    Please update soon Enid

    ReplyDelete
  35. Uh-Oh! Now what! I have this picture in my mind of a scene out of "Barbarella"! I know, crazy isn't it! LOL!

I can't wait to see what you have in store for our couple! Type faster Enid! (teehee)
    Hugs

    ReplyDelete
  36. What marvelous wit, I enjoyed the game very much, though the update is, once again, far too short, fun, but short,

how is the plot coming along? we're still at the ball and Darcy has not ravish Elizabeth yet, what a pity, I'm sure ~Elizabeth will love it tremendously.

    Go, Enid!

    ReplyDelete
  37. Hey, hey, Hangnhu, I never promise Darcy will ravish Lizzy at the ball. Yes, it's still moving slowly. I have another game to go through.

    ReplyDelete
  38. I love the update Enid, but was Darcy influenced by the drink too? I thought for a moment he might be hazed.

I have no idea where you're going with this story, so far. But looks like Mr Bennet and & Mr Collin is missing for the same reason, I wonder if Wickham have anything to do with it, he's always up to no good.

You know, I don't mind letting the ball/assembly continue a bit longer, may the night never end :D

    come back soon Enid

    ReplyDelete
  39. Thanks Hangnhu, Darcy is more affected by the drugged food and wine than he thought, otherwise I just can't explain why he refuses to leave Lizzy's side. He's rather persistent at the moment. Mr. Collins is not the heir of Longbourn in this story. He is renting it right now. I'm still hoping to get D&E to the second game and then the final room. But D&E have a will of their own. They don't listen to me at all!

    ReplyDelete
  40. I, too, am wondering just who it is behind Mr. Bennet's disappearance. Could it be Lady Catherine for some reason? Although, if I had my choice, I would have left Mrs. Bennet and her nerves a long time ago! LOL!

Oh Enid, I am very interested to see just where all of this is going to end up. Will Darcy and Lizzy ever get out of there? And with her virtue intact?

Can't wait for more. Definitely got my interest!

    Bunches of Hugs!
    Sandy

  41. Characters have wills of their own? LOL, I understand what you mean, stories often take their own path without your consent, you go back and try changes things it it turns out worst and you have to go back again and again to mold it to a satisfactory direction.

I was reading Earth vs Mars late last night, I can't believe I never came across it before, it was HOT HOT HOT!
I think there might be another story in your MRR that I haven't check out, so I'm going be off there before bed again tonight

please come back here soon Enid

Is there an Heir to Longbourn in this AU then? You tarried away from the original Retsnip alot, I think.

    ReplyDelete
  42. I'm sure you understand, Hangnhu, now that you are writing V&F. I really love Martian Darcy. Maybe one day I will rewrite it to a longer story and publish it. I can't help but imagine CF will some pointed ears! Oh yes, there is an heir to Longbourn in this story. He will just appears a bit later, after the ball.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Apollo Stone is such sweet NB, I love it
thanks for indulging us during the holiday, Enid.

I hope you will come back to F&F soon, have a happy holiday, belate as it is.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I love, absobloodylutely love The Dragon Gentlemen. Nice touch to distinguish Darcy as an oriental dragon too, in my option they are more elegant and mythical. They are after all rulers of Heaven, Earth, Sky and Water. I wish I had one, alas where is my Darcy :(

    ReplyDelete
  45. Have you read A Touch of Night? I read it this weekend and love it so this short NB came to mind. But it has potential to be much longer. I think I have finally found my genre, I think I like writing fantasy most.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Hey Enid! Just read "The Dragon Gentleman" and loved it! Caro got hers in the end and, of course, Elizabeth got her Darcy! Yay!

I read "A Touch of Night" and enjoyed it very, very much!

    Thanks for all your stories!

    Have a Happy New Year!

    ReplyDelete
  47. Yes Enid, I read A Touch of Night, great story off course. I read fantasy sometime, I think it depends on the fantasy world. I know there are plenty fantasy books out there I haven't look into. Maybe I'll have time when I have children, although yours are not suitable for them.
What about SciFi, cause it looks like you like writing about them?

    ReplyDelete
  48. Absolutely love your writing...i am just going to play catch with all of the stories and I am just debating if I will purchase the book or the online download for Bargin with The Devil

    Barnabus67/Meryton/50 miles etc..

    ReplyDelete
  49. Thanks Barnabus, happy reading! Devil is just a short book, if you have a good pdf reader, it may be better just to download, saving the shipping cost.

    ReplyDelete
  50. I love Rake Darcy, :D
are you emailing updates now? I usually check your site once a day, as I'm still waiting to F&F, which btw when are you going to update. I know your muse is not quiet with that story, seeing that you have another game to play on E&D before the end of the ball. I have no idea to give you, as I'm crap with comedy. I love your clever words game, perhaps next one they could do some acting :P Lover's Vows even?
Nah, can't have theatre inside a ballroom. hm... what other games could courtship includes in the ballroom I wonder? I know we can't have the drinking game, as the punch is already laced with drug. Cards & Chess is not going to help us, perhaps Darcy could teach Elizabeth something of lovemaking, without actually doing the deeds :D wouldn't that just builds up more tension?
Anyway, hope you get your muse back soon Enid.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Hangnhu, I haven't got a lot of update on the site for a while so I thought I'd emailed the new story alert.

Rake Darcy has been bothering me for a while now so I thought I'd written it, in short first and got rid of him so that I can return to F&F.

You're right. I actually want to have D&E do a more physical game. But the problem is the other people in the room. It's a tricky situation.

Alternatively, I can get them to the clergyman, but will there be a wedding? I'm tossing around for it too. The original plot is without a wedding but now I'm not sure, especially after Darcy's kissess and more. He couldn't seem to be able to keep his hands to himself. Gah!!!!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  52. LOL. Enid you are so funny. Hmm if he couldn't seem to keep his hands to himself maybe you can have Elizabeth tie him up and teach him a lesson on self restraint? ;)
Just finished reading Rake Darcy and loving it like as always, Enid.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Enid Honey, what can I say! Rake Darcy,I loved it; Brilliant as usual and oh...that is the way I like my "Rake Darcy" to be! I could see the characters almost like a Clark Kent/Superman look alike with a touch of the "glasses" difference. So much fun! I enjoyed it immensely and definitely want more! Bunches of Hugs! - Sandy

    ReplyDelete
  54. Thanks Miaka, we need a school of gentlemanly manner! Sandy, I can always rely on you for boosting my muse. Thank you and big hug.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Enid, thank you for the Valentine's Day NB. It was difficult to imagine Darcy accepting to wear a speedo at the office, but it was hillarious to imagine him in it (an wearing socks and shoes as well kkkkkkk). Very sexy scenes as well. :-D Want to thank you for Rake Darcy, The Dragon Gentleman and all your other stories. I do like your writing.
BTW, are you going to continue to write your last WIP - which I was enjoying so much and seems to have completely vanished from your site?
all the best (and thanks once again),
    Path G

    ReplyDelete
  56. LOL, I never thought I would agree to an office day in bikinis, but I just love this one. How many secretaries do one need in a winery :D

Thanks for alerting me, and I'm sorry for not commenting earlier, Valentine day was Lunar New Year for me too, and I think you know I was occupied with other issue online.

I like Mia suggestion to have Darcy tied up by Lizzy, btw. And surely you do not need to keep them in a room with other peoples, surely there is a hidden panel somewhere that leads E&D away from the ballroom/gamerooms :P

Kung Hei Fat Choy, and may the Tiger carries plenty of postive muse to your door :)

    ReplyDelete
  57. Happy Chinese New Year and Valentine's Day, Hangnhu. Bondage...it's good idea, where have Lizzy learned such a skill

    ReplyDelete
  58. Hi Pat, BF originally suggested girls in bikini in office but I thought Darcy in speedo would be more interesting.

I still have Finding and Fighting and Every Savage Can Reproduce to finish. They are still on the website but my muse has gone on holiday.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Enid,
Darcy in speedo is always more interesting. Even more with the spicy (or steamy) touch you give him. ;-D
I hope your muse returns soon. I have been following Every Savage for a while now, and have enjoyed your imagination. Finding and Fighting hooked me from the start given the novelty of the situation and it kept me wondering how you were planning to progress with it. Hope you are enjoying your globetrotting adventure.
    Pat

    ReplyDelete
  60. I suppose we will find Lydia married then
but where is Kitty and Mary? Will the former grow her own head while away from Lydia? I wonder if the girls will marry rich men or penniless rakes? How much have Mary had to drink?

What games have you plan for us in this room? Will Darcy & Elizabeth be siting as before? No need to take them to the alter, at least not married this night.

I have a feeling that this is a highly dangerous game room, the door is locked.
I'll leave you to your muse, Enid.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Wow, just read F&F! Great!! Entered Mr. B. this handsome carriage? Was it Mr. Darcy? Has Mr. B lost his memory and knows not who he are and Mr. Darcy had compassion with him and took him to Pemberley and he works now for him on Pemberley? So many possibilities!
What is it? Am I close or far far away from the truth? I will look in a few weeks here again when I´m done with moving. So keep up your work. Your story´s are great. Love them all.

P.S. Please dont have Darcy tied up. There are so many drugged women at this Ball. Please dont do this to him. He´s not so bad, he is drugged too and frankly: we all know that Lizzy likes it when Darcy makes love to her. she just dont know it, yet! And who wouldn´t love a horny Darcy?

    Sandra

    ReplyDelete
  62. Hangnhu, I confess I have totally forgotten about Kitty and Mary. You're always the one to make me think and plot. Thanks. I hope you like the game. Now I can move on. Sandra, no Darcy is not tied up. You have very good imagination about Mr. Bennet's situation. But it's a bit far off my plot plan. LOL, Mr. Darcy has taken a lot of liberty so far. Now should I get them to the altar?

    ReplyDelete
  63. You may get them to the altar if it pleases you and fits into your overall intention. I enjoy reading that update very much. Naughty Darcy, I just love him :D
I wonder though, will this means that Darcy would help tracing Mr Bennet? How are you planning to embroider the other JA characters into this new scheme, should Mr & Mrs Darcy leave the ballroom in the morning? What of Elizabeth plan of running a bathing machine chain? I suspect Bingley and Jane could be married by now, at least I hope Bingley persuaded Jane, unless both were under the influence of alcohol.

Do you think Mary had succumb or do we find her at the altar trying to stop all these nonsense weddings and pull Elizabeth & Darcy from their drunken haze?

I understood that Wickham is not prominent in this plot, but is he at the ballroom this night or no? BTW, where is Mrs Bennet? dear I say she committed adultery or even bigamy? If she stayed at home and I missed it, sorry, I'll read it again in the morning.

I'm glad your muse returned, and though you claimed it from another story, I have forgotten at this point. At least I know the words are not similar, though the objects/fruits/food are.

    cheers Enid.

    ReplyDelete
  64. I love the idea of Mary stopping the wedding! You're a gem. Wickham will appear soon and create a bit of turmoil. As for Mrs. Bennet, married women are not allowed since it's a Bachelor and Spinster ball. Yes, the words are not similar but the food items are the same.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Fire and Cross....Oh Enid! I really like this beginning. Of course, the real cross has to belong to Elizabeth. And, you immediately had all sorts of ideas running around in my head.
First...we all know Caro is coniving, she could have snooped around and found the letter from Darcy's father, although, I can't imagine him not keeping that under lock and key. Perhaps it might have been on his desk at some point and she read it, and had the necklace made according to what was in the letter. She had to be deceitful to get it. Of course, when she saw Elizabeth with one almost like it, she hates her immediately because she knows the significance of it.
Now....I wonder why Mr Bennet would be at the Inn with Elizabeth. Was Mrs Bennet the one who started the fire and she died in it? Back then, there would have been no complete records. Maybe she went mad because Lizzy wasn't a boy and thought she could kill her but instead killed herself.
Mr Bennet would have to be still alive since he is the only one who would remember the Darcy name and be able to recount the fire...but...his wife died in the fire....now....did he deliberately leave her there or did he claim the body and bury her at home. Lots of possibilities here. I sure hope we get more of this one. E-mail me if you want me to ramble some more!!!! LOL! You know my mind....once it gets going, it's hard to stop!

Thanks Enid...and I look forward to more!
    Sandy

    ReplyDelete
  66. How will Darcy figure who is truthful and who is deceitful? I thought that would be easily enough for someone as clever as Darcy to figure out.
    A. the age different, Caroline was not exactly a baby, she is older than Elizabeth and thus a toddler of 2/3(but that depends on you, I suppose)
    B. Elizabeth cross has the proper inscription, and he could take it to the family jeweller to have them clarify which is older.
    C. Elizabeth's annoyance at Darcy interest in her cross (very impertinent of him), to which she really know nothing about. Caroline on the other hand said her father left her a letter??? Mr Bennet and Mr Darcy never talk properly, how the other gentleman knows about Mr Darcy promise? Mr Bennet don't know, as well, because there was no arrangement (well, only one sided)
    D. Elizabeth wore her cross her whole life, and everyone witness her wearing it, though no one knows, nor care about it significant.
    E. Mr Bennet have something about him that cause Darcy to remember the old man, though off course not the baby. Maybe you'll have a fire at Netherfield? two fire, two cross :D

I like Sandy idea that Mrs Bennet was trying to kill Elizabeth, which she failed, but she is still alive now :D

Miss Bingley elegantly dress? surely not? well, if she was from P&P05, then yes, I give you that she is elegantly dress.

Thanks for this Enid, although I wouldn't class this as NB

    ReplyDelete
  67. And I remember where the fruits are from, LOL
Sexpert Challenge the modern work, no wonder, took me some ranking to remember :D

    ReplyDelete
  68. No hangnhu, it's not Sexpert Challenge, should I leave you to think again? Sandy and Hangnhu, you're plot bunny queens! It's just a NB, so I'm afraid I can't have so many things going on. Or else I will leave F&F hanging again. tJean even tried to help me fit HMS into this NB. I think one day if I have time and muse of the world, I may develop F&C, Apollo's Stone and If Someone Discovers Us to longer story.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Oh! Enid, you delight in vexing your writers. Fire and Cross has me wanting to hit Caroline right in the beginning of the story. I like the plot and would really like to read more of it but... am I too selfish when saying that I don't want you to get distracted from F&F? And I am still waiting for a grand finale for Every savage... It is so good to have your muse back. ;-D Pat

    ReplyDelete
  70. I know, Pat, I owe readers a lot! Savage finale has been on mind for ages. Then I've to move F&F out of the Assembly. Maybe I should lock myself up from all distraction.

  71. Fire and Cross update....Akkkkk Duckface!! Cat's out of the bag, now!!!! Oh Enid, that was just too delicious!

Mrs Bennet doesn't seem to have changed, just the man she's berating Lizzy over!

    I can't wait for more!
    Hugs,
    Sandy

  72. Enid, come back now! I must read more.
That was some interrogation, but at least Darcy have found out, who is who :D
Now he has to decide on what to do, but then Elizabeth may not even want to marry him, at least he hasn't called her only tolerable and not handsome enough to tempt him yet
    update update!!!

ps: the story you meant was chocolate indugent, a regency

  73. Thanks Sandy and Hangnhu, I want to come back to write too, but too much work in the office. True, Lizzy may not want to marry him. He stepped on her and didn't apologise! And yes, chocolate indulgent is correct!

  74. Enid, please, please, please, update Fire and Cross ASAP. I love this story! But what if Elizabeth doesn't want to marry Darcy? I'm sure you'll find a way to fix that. I trust you with D&E.

  75. Well....I think we can all guess what Caroline will try next....she'll attempt to steal Elizabeth's cross (still can't figure out how she knew about it) but, of course, Caroline isn't smart enough to realize that Darcy has had a good look at both crosses (he has commented on them being similar, not alike....he will know of the switch immediately.

Caroline is just digging herself in deeper and deeper and I love it! Darcy already knows that Elizabeth holds the real one, but now, he just has to come to terms with the fact that the Bennets, and especially Elizabeth, are more honourable than those women of the ton like Caroline Bingley, or probably even his own family.

Now, will we ever find out why Mr Bennet was with his wife at the inn with baby Elizabeth and just what else happened there? Ohhhh when will Darcy go and talk to Mr Bennet? When will Caroline tell her sister of her wickedness and what will Louisa think of Caroline then?

Oh Enid....so many questions....more please and soon! I love this story...it's just so different and you know that's what I love!

    Hugs,
    Sandy

  76. I suppose whatever you intend to do, like have Caroline steal the cross, or Louisa to help her, Darcy would know that Elizabeth have the real one and would question her about it, with or without the cross. If Caroline would steal it, she could never wear it before Elizabeth, or in Hertfordshire, but surely she can't be that desperate. We have a whole county backing Elizabeth ownership of the cross (not that they would know why they need to back her) and Caroline's family knows nothing of it existence till she tells them.

Anyway, I think you're liking this bunny a tad too much at the moment, you're lengthening it more and more :D I don't mind, but surely you will wrap it and return to F&F?

On the one hand, I want to read more of F&F, but on the other hand, I think I might regret if you don't extend this story.

Do what you must, Enid, I'll look forward to your surprise.

  80. Just read your new one-shot the 'Chilling Proposal' one...I thought it was very good and hot. But, I also think that it would be worth continuing this story. There has to be HEA for them in the end. The good sex is there, now he needs to believe that they could be happy too. Please, give it a go. I am a faithful reader of your stories...:)

  82. This is a review for "Mr. Darcy's Chilling Proposal." Wow, he seems more like a Mr. Rochester type to me or a Severus Snape. LoL

  83. Hi Nuingarien, I'm not that keen on Rochester but a SS is quite a fine complex character.
